FAQ
How long does it take to start work removing the asbestos?
If the asbestos is under 10 sqm, usually straight away. However, if the asbestos is over 10sqm, we need to give Safe Work NSW 5 days notice where we are also required to notify neighbours. We are usually able to start work when the 5 days are up.
What happens to the asbestos once it is taken away?
We are required by law to take the asbestos to an approved disposal station in Eastern Creek where it is then buried. The asbestos is tracked and monitored from the depot to the disposal station with a tracking number. We are fully approved by the EPA to safely store and transport the asbestos.
How much does it cost to remove the asbestos?
The cost is $45 per sqm. Please call or email us so we can provide you with an accurate quote.
Where is asbestos usually located?
Asbestos can be found in most places if your home was built up till the late 1980's. This can include the kitchen, the bathroom, the electrical switchboard and on the roof and under the eaves.
